Transforming Lives Though The Game of Golf
The Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association (OMYGA) empowers minority youth ages 6 to 18 through the game of golf, developing life skills that go far beyond the green. We use golf as a tool to teach discipline, character, and self-respect, fostering positive self-esteem and self-motivation. OMYGA not only nurtures future athletes prepared to compete on high school and college teams but also inspires growth in every aspect of life, creating leaders who thrive on and off the course

Dr. T.J. Dorsey
Dr. T.J. Dorsey is the heart and soul of OMYGA. His leadership, character, and dogged determination to make a difference in the lives of inner city youth have been the driving forces that have made the organization what it is today. Excellence is the expectation and Dr. Dorsey has exuded this from an early age. Dr. Dorsey graduated as the Valedictorian of Jones Highschool and then went on to Meharry Medical College where he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery.

What They Say
This is Mr. Riley Cameron’s dad. I just wanted to thank you again for all the opportunities you afforded both Cameron as well as Mahindra. Seeing both of their names on the golf channel’s morning drive program this am took me back to the OMYGA days. While I know it’s been a grind for you, this is one of the reasons you put all the time and energy into our kids. You and your team are directly responsible for both Mahindra and Cameron being ranked 3(Mahindra) and 5 (Cameron) nationally as it relates to minority golfers, this is huge as both earned it amongst their peers by stellar play on the golf course.
